I feel your pain, i had small fat containing left inguinal hernia in 2016 with mesh, welp i noticed pain right after i went back to work a month later so i had a another MRI done after surgery and the results came back as the same thing so i had to have another operation 3 months later. Surgeon stated the mesh had folded and was floating not only that he felt the need that i needed a triple neurectomy all 3 nerves cut which has caused me so so much pain near my genitals which i just found out if a surgeron peforms that procedure the mesh must be removed according to SAGES. Had a ANA (auto immune) test done last week and it came back positive which means my body is fighting againist this mesh aka {mess}. Try castor oil along your abdomen.

Inguinal hernia mesh repair
I’m 31 and had a CT scan done last week and my prostate is mildly enlarged which is probably why it burns so bad when I urinate also small lymph nodes in the inguinal region lots of pain near lower right quadrant. I also had a left inguinal hernia repair May 2016 and a redo September 2016. Seen my GP today and he ordered a PSA and gave me antibiotics too much weird stuff going on since my mesh placement

Post op ilionguinal neurectomy
Oh ok I would definitely do research on removing the mesh and talk to others who has had it removed, I hear it’s risky due to the nerves that’s attached which is quite scary. I’m thinking about removal as well.

Sorry to hear that, it is definitely devastating. Do you know what type of mesh they implanted? I had to have a 2nd surgery because the mesh was floating and folded.

Post op ilionguinal neurectomy
I had triple neurectomy which was all 3 nerves and it has caused me more pain that I was in before and the mesh still painful. I usually use an ice pack which helps sometimes.
