I have a lot of left sided chest pain which I believe is from a hiatal hernia. I had a hiatal hernia diagnosed with endoscopy and barium swallow. I was considering the Linx after I had the Nissen fundoplication taken down because it was giving me a lot of trouble. i am scheduled to go in for a video esophagram next week. I also had my yearly physical and the doctor gave me an EKG which showed a couple areas of concern which could be suggestive of a blockage and also scheduled me for a echo cardio gram. The chest pain which used to more intermittent is bothering me a lot more now. I take 2 Omeprazoel 40 mg tablets daily and do not have any heartburn. Do you think hiatal hernia is the cause? Maybe the pressure from the hiatal hernia can cause these readings on an EKG?
