    Here is an interesting paper that illustrates how the intense focus on coverting all hernia repairs to mesh implantations has left a critical hernia problem unsupported. Hernia repair in an infected field. It seems so obvious, something that all surgeons should realize, once they understand the problems with mesh infection. Somehow, it’s apparently been overlooked.
