“Mesh should not be used in humans”

Often wondered where this came from now, thanks to a post of Facebook, it seems it was from here, a memo to one of the manufacturer’s.

Memos reveal mesh firms were warned 21 years ago that material should not be used on humans

I think it relates to a particular type but is worrying none the less.

It doesnt explain however why some people are fine with mesh maybe it:s a different kind.

For me, mesh would be last option still. As a last resort. And I still can’t see why it’s ‘banned’ for vaginal and not hernia. The body is pretty much the same internally I’d have thought.
