I’ve reported in the past a feeling of pressure or tightness in my lower right abdominal area, anywhere between ribs and hip bone, especially when sitting at my desk all day. Had laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair on that side a year ago. I don’t really have any pain in that area though. But sometimes when I am in bed at night it seems like that area is kind of bulging out when I am lying on my back or side. Just read about spigelian hernias and wondering if that’s a possibility, though ultrasound and CT scan and multiple physical exams of that region have shown nothing. And again, no real pain there. Just feels more full than the other side. No real digestive issues either.

Also, any chance these can be caused by laparoscopic surgery (similar to incisional hernia)?

    Thanks.
