    TAPP vs TEP

    Att. Dr Towfigh: With regards to dissection of pre peritoneal space and in particular extending the dissection 2 cm below Coopers ligament and the pubic bone, Are TEP and TAPP equivalent. It seems to a novice like me that with TEP you would not be able to prepare as large a landing zone for 15 x 10 cm mesh with TEP because of limited access as compared to wider more open access with TAP and therefore that would be a compromise you would have to make with TEP
