    I will post about my experience soon, but I am just over three weeks out from an inguinal repair. I looked at many surgeons and decided to go to Sarasota to have Dr. Yunis do my non-mesh repair. I could not be more pleased with the whole experience to date. I would suggest looking at his site and gathering your questions. He and his staff responded promptly and answered any question I had. So pleased I had it done and done by him.

    TY for the reply, Dr Brown. It is indirect. It still feels odd to say because I was overweight or yo-yo-ing for many years but I have been skinny since 2010. I have some left over skin in lower ab area if that matters for cutting, but low body fat.

    I was already leaning to no mesh because now that I am healthy, don’t like the idea of a foreign body in me for what is hopefully decades and in reading about Desarda said they use the oblique. Mine are fairly strong so that sounded appealing. I did not know my combination increased risk of post surgery pain, so TY for that information. I am going to keep reading and learning but I am committed to acting fairly soon, hopefully towards Thanksgiving.

    Is the gurgling indicative of any escalation? The feeling of gas and tightness in my sides and back may have just been sore lats, but I have still heard occasional gurgling sounds from hernia area.

    Well my reply to Good Intentions must have been flagged because i tried to edit out emoji. TY for reply GI, Still exploring. Glad to find some more resources here. Basically was saying looking to find an experienced specialist that focuses on cash payment. Will add Ohio hernia center to my list thanks to the forum here. Any experiences w/ Dr Kravitz in MD? Did not find his name in a search of site. How about Surgery Center of Oklahoma?
