My surgeon was Andrew Iranahi in Newport Beach CA. No mesh. He does both mesh and no mesh and gave me a great belly button because he does cosmetic surgery. He also understand anatomy because of this.
He has tons of Youtube videos which is how I found him. All very informative. Explains everything in detail.

Yes that is him. Not sure if anyone on this board is familiar with him? Anyway, I sent him a video he said he didn’t see anything visible so I will go in. I feel fine today. Praying it was me overreacting to this strange sensation.
It has been an interesting healing process of different sensations for months. No same sensation. Then no sensations and now this. Strange. I feel everything in my body too. Every little thing.

Did you end up using mesh and if so what kind?

Unfortunately mine is incisional/ventral not a ingunial so it does require mesh. My only option now is to find some kind of mesh that is autoimmune friendly or biodegradable. Of course there is no way to know how my body will react until it’s in there. No mesh means a high possibility of reoccurance and causing more damage because of the location. I am terrified.

I left a message for Dr. Brown to call me. I’m praying he can fix an incision hernia without mesh since it looks like he does sports/groin which is not the one I have.

Sorry I meant I have an incisional hernia from a prior laporscopic appendectomy. It’s above my belly button
