Could be occult inguinal hernia or a sports hernia which involves small tear in the muscle that irritates the nerve.

Could be an inguinal hernia if the imaging is misread and the hernia is small. Symptoms suggest that.
so you saw what sounds like a hernia specialist. Did they say they looked at the mri themselves? What explains the symptoms?

Size is often classified based on bulging amount.

It’s not routine to measure the size of a hernia as it is a dynamic scan.

Correct. Bridging a defect doesn’t work with BIOLOGICS.

Dancers and ballerinas and yoga instructors are a different breed of athlete. They tend to get tissue repairs or laparoscopic repairs with lightweight mesh, as flexibility is key to their career and they tend to be quite thin
